What are you looking for?

Arrival days are Monday through Saturday, departure days are Monday through Sunday (with some dates - such as holidays - excepted). The minimum stay is 2 nights.

On the day of arrival you are welcome between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Arriving later? Please let us know by phone, app, or email. 

On the day of departure we ask you to check out before 10:00 AM. On Sundays and public holidays (Easter Monday, Whit Monday, and New Year's Day) the check-out time is 6:00 PM. Would you like to arrive earlier or leave later? Please contact us to see what is possible.  

The minimum age to book a holiday home is 21 years.

The rental price includes final cleaning and a linen package. The linen package consists of bed linen with made beds, 1 large and 1 small bath towel per person, and per holiday home 1 kitchen towel and 1 tea towel.

A week before arrival you will receive an email with all the information about your stay. For reservations with arrival within 7 days, you will receive the email within a day. This information concerns access to your holiday home, extras, login details for the wifi, etc. Haven’t received an email? Check your spam/junk email or contact us.

In the information folder in the accommodation you can find what we expect from you when leaving the holiday home. When you leave, place the keys on the table in the living room and leave the accommodation.

Babies and children up to 2 years old do not count towards the number of people allowed in a property. For example, in a 4-person property, 4 people + 1 baby and/or child up to 2 years old are allowed. However, this baby and/or child does count for the tourist tax and must therefore be registered. In case of an emergency, it is also necessary to know the correct number of guests present.

In our holiday homes, there is always one cot (either a fixed cot or a foldable one, i.e. a ‘travel cot’) and one high chair available as standard. Bedding is not provided for the cot. You must bring your own bedding. Would you like to bring 2 babies and/or children up to 2 years old? Please contact us to see what is possible.

We ask for a deposit of 50% of the stay when making the reservation. The remaining 50% can be paid later, no later than 6 weeks before arrival. Are you booking within 6 weeks? Then you pay the full amount in one go when making the booking.

When making the booking, you agree to the general terms and conditions and the payment obligation, which is necessary to guarantee your booking. If the payment is not made on time, we will cancel your booking. Of course, you will always first receive a payment reminder and a warning before we proceed to cancellation. In case of cancellation, you will always be notified by email and you will owe us the cancellation fees as stated in the general terms and conditions.

It may happen that you need to cancel your booking due to circumstances. Is this the case for you? Always do this by email.  The applicable cancellation fees are as follows: if you cancel between the time of booking and 12 weeks before the day of arrival, 10% of the rental amount will be charged. If you cancel between 12 weeks and 4 weeks before the day of arrival, 50% of the rental amount will be charged. If you cancel between 4 weeks and 2 weeks before the day of arrival, 75% of the rental amount will be charged. If you cancel between 2 weeks until 1 day before the day of arrival, 90% of the rental amount will be charged. If you cancel from 1 day before arrival or in case of no-show, 100% of the rental amount will be charged. See the General Terms and Conditions of De Grote Geere. Absolutely, no problem. There are 3 accommodations where a maximum of 2 dogs are allowed. We do ask that you also book your dogs with your reservation, as we charge an additional cleaning fee for this.  

Furthermore, we ask that you keep your dog(s) on a leash on the grounds of De Grote Geere and do not walk them on the shared play meadow.

Our 8-person holiday home and several 4-person holiday homes are pet-free. Check the box ‘pets not allowed’ when searching and you will see the available pet-free holiday homes. 

For changes or modifications to your reservation, we are happy to see what is possible. Please contact us for this, preferably by email. 

Absolutely! Bed linen, bath linen, and kitchen linen can be ordered separately. You can book extra linen both when making the reservation and later. Contact us or arrange it via the guest environment ‘My reservation’.

De Grote Geere has its own bicycles (with gears) for rent. These can be booked as an extra when making your reservation. It is also possible to rent them during your stay; please see the information folder in the accommodation for more details. Would you like a child seat for the front or back? That is also possible; please contact us for this. Children's bicycles and electric bicycles can be rented at the local bike shops.

Most holiday homes have a bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor. Check the box ‘bedroom and bathroom ground floor’ when searching and you will see the available holiday homes.

Our 6-person holiday home is suitable for people with reduced mobility. It has a bedroom with a spacious, adapted bathroom on the ground floor; see also the description of the house. We also have a shower stool available on request, which can be used in all houses. Please contact us for this. 

We have several pet-free 4-person accommodations of the same type. It is possible that the color scheme of your holiday home differs from the photos on the website.

In the common area there is a washing machine and dryer, which you can use free of charge. There is also an iron and ironing board. Our 8-person holiday home has its own washing machine.

A small service package is waiting for you in the holiday home. It contains: 2 dishwasher tablets, a dish brush, a mini tube of dish soap, a garbage bag, a sponge, and a large and small dishcloth.

No, smoking is not allowed in our holiday homes. If you violate the smoking ban, we may charge you € 250.00 in cleaning costs.

At the Grote Geere you can park in the shared parking lot.

Barbecuing on the terrace is allowed, but there is no BBQ available as standard.
